COLOR FABRIC
Presenting the full color spectrum for Activewear Spring/Summer 2024 and Fall/Winter 2024-25.
As we have settled into a new state of being, we have become more open to constant change and experimentation. While this constant stimulation is inspiring, it also creates the need to be soothed and comforted. These two notions are reflected in color.
While we still consider the core collection to be neutral based, we begin to see more expressive tones represented. The top row has more of a traditional Fall/Winter application, whereas the bottom row shows a mineral counterpart to each color that rests above it. These mineral shades will be more prominent for core color application in the Spring/Summer season.
Browns remain important no matter the season, while saturated yet optical purple takes the place of black, offering a more prismatic element. The smokiness of shadowed grey, washed blue, and deep mauve lend a rich yet worn allure. Peculiar green has shifted from years past, where it sat in secondary and accent categories, signifying the prominence of nature in all aspects of creativity. Its mineral counterpart ushers in the newer and more modern interpretation of that relationship. Creamy shades of white and peach stand in contrast providing a soothing elixir. The expressive outliers of chili oil and super blue have seasonless range and represent the shift we are beginning to see in the use of color in the activewear market.
The secondary colors are vivacious and far ranging.
While blues remain important in the category, their range is broadened making way for bright, cosmetic and saturated tones of pink and purple. Quirky versions of citrus yellow, green, and orange have evolved from their accent roles in seasons past. The freshness of these secondary colors represents the new views of the world that we live in.
Accent tones fall into two categories; bold and hyper-saturated, and soft hues that have a lit-from-within quality. Even though these two are so different in saturation, they equally provide an outstanding sense of awe among the other shades in the capsules.
