Welcome to the full color spectrum for Activewear Spring/Summer 2025 and Fall/Winter 2025-26. As we experience an ever-hurried pace of life, we are pulled in many directions by multiple, and at times opposing inspirations and desires. We are caught between actively keeping up, and the need to slow down; between feeling hopeful and optimistic about what possibilities lay ahead, and feelings of anxiety about the current state of uncertainty and what the future might bring next. Simultaneously, rest, reprieve, and comfort shift from luxury to necessity and will be sought after more than ever.

We address sustainability through color; not only by ways of inspiration, but by making the conscious decision to carry over impactful colors from seasons past into the current forecast. We chose not to force them to fade out of style just for the sake of newness, instead allowing them to organically evolve in application.

Greyed purple, rich blackened brown, and neutralized teal are once again included in our core color selection. Additionally, desert rose solidified its importance for both the womenswear and menswear markets and is now situated among the core colors, shifting up from last year’s secondary placement. Freshness is presented with the addition of a rich jewel tone teal, and khaki takes a warm soulful cast moving towards golden iterations.

Expressive colors take hold with the inclusion of optimistic yet gentle yellow, optical lavender, and electrified melon. Vivid magenta and bright royal blue get carried over from the previous year and shift into the more dominating role of staple colors. Grey gets cooled by a mineral undertone with a green cast, and emerald is as deep as it is bright. This is the most vibrant collection of core colors that we have had in some time; even the true neutrals and darks have a more captivating energy than we have seen in the past.

A small yet far-reaching selection of colors make up the secondary category. True grape offers a bold contrast when paired with neutrals and darks from the spectrum. The confectionary mid-tones of periwinkle and candied pink supply an uplifting nudge that could either be optimistic or sarcastic in tone depending on the surrounding colors and design application.

A brighter more optical shade of brown is selected to provide depth and contrast against the rosy and botanical tones present in the full spectrum, while warm beige is used to counteract the more acidic hues, and pale lime brings a curiously cool feel to any mix.

Accents have typically served the need for invigoration and inspiration via “pops” of ultra bright colors. Here, we acknowledge the notion of rest being a form of escape, and that is reflected in the inclusion of dream-like and atmospheric tints that dominate the group. The peculiar and bright outlier here is at once acidic and fluorescent. The inclusion of this color, and acknowledgement of its importance in direct contrast to the soothing hues speaks to notion of us being pulled in multiple and even opposing directions at once.
